SEARCH TIPS
You may use our search box at the top left or bottom of any page on this site.
Due to the massive quantity of items listed, please be as specific as you can in your search.
If you are searching dates. Please use the full spelling of the month & year you are searching for.
Do not use commas, periods, parentheses, hyphens, percents, stars or any other symbols. They will only interfere with the search.
Example of a search for dates:
January 1964
January 18 1964
January 1964 Time
January 18 1964 Time
If you are searching for a singer, motion picture star, or famous person try to be specific.
Example:
Engelbert Humperdinck
It would also be a good idea to search by last name only.
For Example:
Humperdinck, since some items may have been listed as E Humperdinck to save space.
Another search may have a more common name such as George Jones. If you searched only the name Jones, your results would be huge.
The search results would pull every Jones from the server, Jennifer Jones, Grace Jones, Howard Jones, David Jones, Shirley Jones, George Jones, Jack Jones, Tom Jones.
Some year searches may also return too many results to be published.
For instance a year such as 1979. The server may ask you to be more specific because it found too many results.
If this happens, simply type in the year you are searching for and another word or two.
Example:
1979 Jones
There are thousands of records with song titles also listed on this site. You may also search them, even if you dont know the singer of the song.
However, to save time and space not every word to the song title was listed, so an exact match may not show the item. It is best to choose the keywords that are in the song title.
Example:
Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around The Old Oak Tree
Good search words for this song would be: YELLOW RIBBON
We have an expensive backend infrastructure to modify and create categories, and are currently constructing key categories for items that appear frequently on the site.
For instance you will now find a category for Soap. However early on, an advertisement may have been listed initially as Lifebouy without the keyword soap in its title.
So, it will appear in its original category because it could not be moved to the new soap category.
These entries can only be fixed by hand, when found.
A Lifebouy search will bring you every Lifebouy entry on the server, no matter what category they are in.
This is why it is best at this time to rely on the search, rather than the category. It is also best to use the KEY WORD to the product you are searching for.
1951 Pontiac will bring you every item with the key words 1951 Pontiac, and omit all other Pontiac items, as well as all other 1951 items.
The single word search Pontiac will bring you every Pontiac entry on the server.
The Paperboy News sequel server database is simply huge.
